An insanely slow book. I expect, and assume most others expect, Dessen to write about a romance. This was more about finding yourself and second chances. Which is all well and good. I just hyped myself up about it being a romance, and was disappointed when it lacked just that. Well rounded book. Good story about relationships with parents, friends, boyfriends, and even ex boyfriends.
Not Sarah Dessen’s best but still worth the read.
I really loved this book but I know what you mean... Sarah Dessen is still one of my favs though.
