Taken at Dusk by C.C Hunter

Taken at Dusk (Shadow Falls, #3)
Average rating: 4.38 out of five (Goodreads)
My rating: 4.5 stars.
Overview: Step into Shadow Falls, a camp for teens with supernatural powers.  Here friendship thrives, love takes you by surprise, and our hearts possess the greatest magic of all.

Kylie Galen wants the truth so badly she can taste it. The truth about who her real family is, the truth about which boy she’s meant to be with—and the truth about what her emerging powers mean.  But she’s about to discover that some secrets can change your life forever…and not always for the better.

My review:
Shadow Falls is definitely underrated series let me start off by saying that. It is definitely in my top five favorite series. This book did not disappoint. I fell more in love with Lucas, but I am probably just as torn as Kylie. It was well written and had me laughing out loud many times.  This book definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. The book was full of mysteries that lasted from start to finish. It was a tear jerker, Because yes, “Someone lives and someone dies” The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is there are VERY FEW, but few nonetheless, parts that are predictable.  Luckily I already own the last two books in this series, because C.C. Hunter LOVES cliffhangers, and she is very good at them. Fast read. I am very pleased.
